Survival in practice
A study was conducted on 42 leukemia patients, half of whom
received a certain new treatment therapy (6-Mercaptopurine)
and the other half of whom received a standard treatment
therapy. The goal was to compare remission survival times
among the 2 treatment groups.

occurrence of relapse or censoring
RELAPSE
(1=relapsed, 0=censored)
RX :
treatment group (1=standard treatment, 0=new treatment)

patient's white blood cell level at time of entry/randomization
(1=low,
2=medium, 3=high)
