Statistical Analysis Culminating Activity The Proposal For the statistical analysis project, I will be relating the height of basketball players on the Toronto Raptors to the number of points they scored during the 2018-19 season. To support this analysis, I will be collecting secondary data by gathering information from NBA. com. For the thesis, I will be answering the question "Is there a relationship between the height of a basketball player and the efficiency of their game time". I predict that the height of basketball players on the Toronto Raptors does not have a relation to the number of points they had for the 2018-2019 season. It is often said that you have to be tall to play basketball and I would like to prove that statement wrong with my analysis and statistical study. This study is a worthwhile investigation because I want to eliminate the idea of having to look a certain way in order to do something you love doing, in this study, I focus on having to be tall in order to play basketball. In NBA statistics, being under 6 feet is considered short while 6'0 to 6'5 is considered average height and anything over 6'5 is tall for a player. Bibliography - "Players Bios."
