What does Easter mean to you? Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus Christ, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance. Easter is a time for Christians to rejoice in the victory of Jesus over death and to celebrate the hope of eternal life. It is also a time for Christians to reflect on the meaning of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection and to rededicate themselves to their faith. For me, Easter is a time to spend with family and friends and to celebrate the hope that Jesus brings into the world. It is also a time to reflect on my own mortality and to rededicate myself to living a life that is worthy of the sacrifice that Jesus made for me. Easter is a time of joy, hope, and renewal. It is a time to celebrate the victory of life over death and to rejoice in the hope of eternal life.
