On their lab sheet, students will be instructed to create various 3d shapes out of their play dough. Students will then slice their shapes either parallel or perpendicular to the base to see which type of cross section remains. Students will record their results on their lab sheet. ☐ Centers Day Students will work in pairs to complete task cards on cross sections. ☐ Centers Day Surface Area Lab - Students will create various 3D shapes when given the net of the shape.
