On a sheet of graph paper, create two graphs. Your first graph must represent a function, and the
second graph must not represent a function.
Explain how you know which graph is a function.

The first graph is a function because it passes the vertical line test.
The second graph is not a function because it does not pass the vertical line test. The dots line up
at -4.
