What studying techniques have worked for you in the past? In my academic life what has historically worked for me is taking notes from lectures. I suppose with this I will get whatever video content I can for lectures and take notes from that. I will search high and low for some through PMI. I have two PMP test prep books, that I plan to read cover to cover while taking notes. What test-taking strategies have you used in the past that have been successful? I need to read, re-read, and cross reference my notes. For more difficult material I have found group studying to be beneficial. What test-taking strategies have you used in completing the quizzes in this course? So far in this class I have not been able to find ample time to study. My wife had Covid leaving me to take care of the kids for 5 days by myself. I had a vacation in there. I hope to finish this class strong. Late nights, early mornings, and sacrificing weekend time. Are there any tools or additional resources that you plan to use while studying for the PMPⓇ exam? I have Rita Mulcahy PMP prep book and an Andy Crowe PMP prep book. I plan to read and take notes from both. I am contemplating taking a boot camp in addition to this class and the two prep books. I think this will definitely put me in a place to nail the exam especially if it is soon after the boot camp. Is there an aspect of studying or test taking that you would like to improve on? Is there an aspect that you excel at? Recently I have struggled with discipline. I have two boys 3 & 5, I work 50 hours a week and manage to have a healthy marriage. I easily throw in the towel for rest at the end of some days. I hope to push through some fatigue and put the time necessary in. Or waking up early on the weekends to get me to where I need to be.
