Competitive Advantage:What can give a business a competitive advantage? oThere are several things that can give a business a competitive advantage. Creating a user friendly and mobile device compatibility app that represents a business is an excellent way to gain an advantage over competitors. Mobile apps offer a wide variety of marketing opportunities and assist in building a strong relationship with customers, strengthening a businesses position in the market. Remaining up to date on latest mobile marketing trends and consumers needs will help businesses find new and different ways to remain relevant and successful. Additionally, utilizing a combination of mobile marketing strategies and tactics will help businesses stand out in the market. Mobile Marketing Usefulness:Do you think mobile marketing will be useful to marketers in the future and why? oMobile marketing is, and will continue to be, absolutely essential for marketers in the future. Although technology has made huge leaps in the past few decades, it continues to evolve dramatically and rapidly. Through a combination of staying up to date with mobile
marketing tactics, strategies, and opportunities, and remaining consistent in implementing the newest technologies, marketers will find that mobile marketing is imperative for their future successes. Trends:What are the trends that will have the highest impact on mobile marketing? oThe trends that will have the highest impact on mobile marketing are mobile commerce, shoppable ads, mobile streaming video content, user-generated content and personalized marketing techniques will continue to have the highest impact on mobile marketing. "OpenPR reports that the mobile marketing market is expected to reach $102 billion in 2022, with a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 22%." (Yec, 2023). This is because more and more people are using mobile devices, particularly mobile devices. "According to Statista, the number of smartphone subscriptions globally is currently over 6 billion and is projected to reach over 7.6 billion by 2027." (Yec, 2023). Staying Current:Why is it important to stay current in the field? oIt is important to always stay current in the mobile marketing industry because as a form of technology, mobile marketing will always be evolving. Keeping up with mobile marketing trends, as people are using their mobile devices more and more, is essential for mobile marketing success, as marketing platforms will continue to keep updating their infrastructure. Trends change, and certain advertising strategies will grow more or less effective and competitive over time. By keeping up with the newest best practices of the industry, a business can expect a stronger, more successful long-term marketing performance. (Grossman, 2022). New Career Ops:Are there new career opportunities with marketing? oNew career opportunities with marketing are appearing rapidly. Social media management is a good example, as social media is becoming more and more important in today's marketing strategies. Businesses can't keep up with the demand of creating content, maintaining customer relationships, and monitoring customer behavior across a plethora of social media platforms, without help. Additionally, marketing strategists and marketing managers, who create, implement, and enhance long-term marketing strategies, as well as managing and overseeing the big picture of a businesses marketing goals, are both growing career opportunities in marketing. Yay! We finally made it to the end of mobile marketing! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time learning all about the different mobile marketing topics and aspects we learned this semester. It gave me a peak into what it will be like to use my degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing once I graduate. This class made me excited for the future and ready to learn more. We share a similar understanding of the importance of staying relevant and up to date on the newest mobile marketing trends. You mentioned that the average person spends over 5 hours a day using their mobile devices, and in my research, I have learned that that is expected to grow in the future, as well as the amount of people who are using a mobile device. That gives so much room and growth for mobile marketing to expand and develop the industry and provides leverage for businesses that choose to focus their marketing tactics on mobile marketing. New career opportunities are appearing more and more in the marketing industry.
