Ungraded Assignment 2 1. In my opinion, I think that Lululemon's manifesto is unique and different, and still provides similar things to a mission statement. I think this approach maybe has a stronger effect on the public as well, because if you shop at Lululemon, you know that this manifesto is everywhere. There are graphics all over the stores, and these manifestos are printed on every bag you get when you purchase an item. To top it off, these bags are reusable, and people carry them everywhere. So, although they may not have a mission statement, they have placed this manifesto everywhere and consumers are very aware of it. 2. Fill in the Blank: Analysis a. I don't know if this is the correct answer! I read the textbook and I understand all these terms I just don't know which one to fill in the blank with! 3. I learned about SWOT in one of my high school marketing classes. SWOT is a great way to analyze a business or company. This stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The goal of SWOT is to collect information on all of these categories in a company and then really get a good look at how the company is doing, and what could b fixed. Smith's approach analyzes the Internal environment, External environment, and public perception of a company. This is another great and maybe more in-depth way of analyzing a business or company. I think both strategies are great and effective, and I think I will use both in my future. These are great tools to know, and I think I would apply them depending on the situation at hand.
