We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our Sales team as Sales and Marketing Assistant to help us grow our business. Position Overview: In this role, you will play a critical part in providing valuable support to our sales team. You will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns and generating leads in addition to monitoring and recording sales data. You should have the ability to analyze and interpret sales metrics, demonstrating a goal-oriented mindset. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement marketing campaigns, including print/digital/social media, to grow sales. Create and maintain content for company websites, blogs, and social media. Create sales leads by researching, identifying, and contacting prospective customers. Assist in maintain sales databases to track progress against quotas and to forecast sales accurately. Assist Manager in budget planning for marketing and sales activities. Develop financial models and forecasts to analyze product profitability. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills and experience
Knowledge of bioanalytical chemistry, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, biology Experiences working in chemistry or biology laboratories. Experience in marketing/sales of biotech products Strong computer skills (Advanced Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel Experience with productivity or project management software, Notion or CRM systems an asset Ability to work as part of a team, but equally adept working independently. Creative, self-motivated, independent thinker, and strong attention to detail Effective communication (oral and written) and listening skills. Strong analytical and project management skills Time management, organizational and planning skills Biosensing instrumentation or assay running experience a big plus. Experience with productivity or project management software, Notion or CRM systems an asset Prior experience in a sales development/lead generation role in a B2B setting.
