1 MKT 666 Module Seven Project Two Milestone Guidelines and Rubric Overview: For Project Two, you will create a presentation to show the results of the social media marketing campaign for The Social Observer blog. You began this work in Project One and have begun to promote the blog posts. It is important to understand that promotion is an iterative process; it is not simply "one and done." In order for a campaign to be effective, you should be prepared to analyze your results during multiple stages of the campaign and adjust your approach as needed. Prompt: In an earlier module, you created a strategy to promote the blogs on The Social Observer and created your first promotional posts. You should have been monitoring your promotions weekly and adjusting your approach as necessary. In this milestone assignment, you will create a report to show the current progress of the campaign thus far. The feedback you receive here will inform your approaches and support your work on Project Two, due in Module Nine. You will look at the preliminary data that has been generated from your promoted content as you reach the midpoint of your campaign. You will use this milestone to make preliminary adjustments to your strategy. Remember that you are required to utilize Google Analytics for informing your promotional strategies. All promoted content must include the tag #snhusmm so that this data can be tracked. Additionally, use references from resources in modules throughout the course to support your ideas. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria: o Campaign Results : Provide an overview of the campaign results in relation to campaign objectives, including total new followers, total engagement, and website traffic, using screenshots and graphics to support your claims. Website traffic parameters should include page views, visits, time on page, and bounce rate. Describe what this information means in the context of the campaign objectives. Consider the following: If you continued at this rate for the duration of the campaign, would you meet your objectives? Why or why not? What will you do to increase engagement? o Top Blog Post Keywords/Trends: Determine the current top blog posts based on Google Analytics; specifically, identify the keywords/trends that made the posts successful. o Promotion Considerations : Describe how your promotion approach can change, detailing the alterations you will make to improve engagement.
