Then - Now Cellphones Televisions Computer 1. Describe the progression of each product. We now use our cell phones more for surfing the web, checking email, snapping photos, and updating our social media status than placing calls. Rapidly expanding software titles, better screen resolution, and constantly improved interface make cell phones easier to navigate, and more fun to use. Many years ago, in their most rudimentary form, computers were very large and slow. Gradually, computers have become smaller and faster, enabling people to use them virtually anywhere. New computer technology has enabled more advanced business tasks as well. The number of television sets in use rose from 6,000 in 1946 to some 12 million by 1951. By 1957 half of all U.S. homes had a television set. The television sets improved because it had removed the boxed in screen, and made a screen that was a little bigger, and didn't have a rim around it.

Now the average price of a phone is 300$ -1.500$. Computer: MITS co-founder Ed Roberts invented the Altair 8800 — which sold for $297, or $395 with a case — and coined the term "personal computer". Now the average computer cost 300$ - 3.000$. 5. Describe how the features of the products have changed in the NOW era. The tv has distinctly change throughout the years. Starting by being a small thigh cube with one of the sides being a screen, the tv now is a large thin hard-plastic object with a large screen in front. Starting by being a small carriable cuboid whit a small and not that sensible screen, the cellphone is now a large 1cm side object with a big sensible screen, that takes pictures, saves information and calculates numbers. Computers have evolved during the years, starting by being non carriable technical device of four pieces, to being a carriable device with only one part with includes movement of the screen. 6. Describe the importance of each product. Television can teach important values and life lessons. Educational programming can develop young children's socialization and learning skills. News, current events and historical programming can help make young people more aware of other cultures and people.
