Some of the most valuable resources within a team include technology, knowledge, and the individuals who make up the team. Technology is important because it ensures that the team can communicate when unable to meet face-to-face. Technology is also essential in order to conduct necessary research. Knowledge is vital in order to increase productivity. The team members are necessary because each person has a diverse way of thinking, which is excellent for problem-solving. The team leader or project manager should determine how team resources are used. This individual should have a clear understanding of the team's strengths and weaknesses as well as the resources available to the team. Changes to the availability of resources can affect the team dynamics in many ways. For example, if a team member does not have access to technology, it can be difficult for the team to communicate via email. This can also affect one's ability to conduct research. Lack of resources can also cause the team to become stressed and less productive. The most important project management and planning skills needed to keep a team on track include time management, communication, critical thinking, and adaptability. I would say that I obtain all of the skills listed, but there is room for improvement.
