Subject: PureTech Water Conservation Plan - Next Steps From: Muneeb Ahmad To: All PureTech Employees Date: Sep 23, 2023 Dear PureTech Team, I hope this email finds you all in good spirits. I'm writing to offer some wonderful news about PureTech's continuous efforts to become a pioneer in workplace water conservation. As you may be aware, we began taking measures towards this goal last year, including completing a full water audit, developing a water conservation strategy, and applying for government incentives. Today, I'm thrilled to announce the next stages in putting our water conservation strategy into action, set to kick off at the end of February. As your "water champion," I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for your support and commitment to this initiative. Our aim is to maximize efficiency while minimizing our environmental impact, and here are the key measures we will be putting into action: #1. Information and Education Programs: We will begin a series of classes to improve water conservation awareness. This will include educational seminars and materials emphasizing the need for water conservation as well as practical recommendations for lowering water consumption. #2. Distribution System Audits, Leak Detection, and Repair: We will undertake audits of our water distribution systems to detect and repair leaks as soon as possible. Detecting and repairing leaks is critical for reducing water waste and preserving the integrity of our systems. #3. Modern Restroom Retrofits: Our restroom facilities will be retrofitted with water-saving fixtures and technology. This will feature low-flow faucets, dual-flush toilets, and sensor-based controls, allowing us to cut water use without sacrificing functionality. These measures were chosen not just for their efficiency, but also because they specifically correspond with our dedication to sustainability. Thank you for your support of PureTech's dedication to water conservation. We can have a big influence on our environment and contribute towards a more sustainable future if we work together. Your feedback and inquiries will be extremely helpful to us as we move forward. Please contact me personally if you have any questions or recommendations about our water conservation strategy. Best regards, Muneeb Ahmad PureTech Water Champion :)
