Introduction A skill audit is a process to measure the skill of an individual or group. The purpose of a skill audit is to identify areas where a person or group needs to improve as much as possible and cover up the skill gap ( Longman et al., 2021 ) . In group work, the development of personal skills is the key factor to becoming successful in all perspectives of work. A person needs to maintain some basic skills and a good sense of mind to get a better result in desired work. A 3
skill audit also shows the strength of a person alongside weaknesses. The skill audit tool is made for adopting different programs. It is very useful for students and helps to enhance their specific skills where needed. The skill audit also develops employability for this advantage, they will be able to use experience for personal development in any discipline. ate) Planning I want to learn planning strategically to implement my ideas into a successful project. Planning is required to conduct a task efficiently. It's normally making a roadmap to a particular problem. In this particular area, I have to improve my skill so that I can be organized in my work. Weakness in this particular part has given me trouble in the middle of any work and I had to go back to solve previous work. Planning can be measured by thinking about development. I have started implementing planning strategies for developing my tasks. I have found tasks easier than ever. I think this is helping me to complete my tasks. Yes, I agree with the term that planning can be developed. This is realistic and I think this skill is very much achievable By, December 2022, I want to develop this skill. To avoid uncertain situations in business and other sectors, planning is a much- needed thing. Risk factors management , roadmap, time management , and structure of the work are discussed in planning. In group work, communication plays a key role which leads to successful group work. Commun ication has been my biggest strength of mine. In teamwork, I haven't got much difficulty in communicating. I asked specific questions where necessary. I have been active in group meetings. Resolving group conflict also needs a higher degree of communicati on. Problem- solving and Skill develop ment Problem-solving skills are the quality by which identify problems, analyses the problem, and give an optimal solution for any particular problem. This is the skill that I have to focus on the most. To avoid getting stuck in research work or any particular work, problem- solving skills help us to find a way out. Skill development is the most important part of learning and development. By skill development, data can be analyzed and presented perfectly. Various tools and tips can be learned by skill development. Performance in difficult situations can be assessed to observe the problem- solving skill. Problem-solving skills can be measured by comparing the previous timing with the new timing. When it comes to problem- solving and skill development , I agree with the fact that problem- solving and skill development competency are essential and help to gain more. Yes, I think it is realistic to increase thinking ability by problem- solving skills. By 15/01/202 2 I want to solve more critical cases to develop the skill. There can be uncertain situations while working on a project or task. To face and solve those problems, I have to think critically and try to get optimal solutions. Solving cases and scenarios can develop the problem- solving skills. Skill development
is necessary to increase analytical ability by using various tools. Part 2: Reflection I have been working with the group as per course instructions. Group work unfolds our way of organization and communication. Creative thinking and a variety of choices are available in group work. In higher education, objectives have been set to make them good team players ( Šerić and Garbin, 2018 ). We worked as a group and shared tasks to complete as per the deadline. In group work, every individual was bound to do their task according to instructions. Group work refers to a shared system to increase team spirit and awareness ( Wahyuningsih, 2018 ).
We have arranged a medium of communication, meeting time, and duration to communicate with each other. To connect with the group members, I felt the importance of connecting virtually in a group. This helped our group maintain an optimal workflow. Perspective and views on particular problems have been taken from every individual and decisions have been made by taking the best solution. Communication of the group was open-ended and asking for help while needed was normal. Group communication is normally needed to work together towards any particular vision ( Bhasin, 2021 ). There were times when we had arguments on a particular decision. But by group discussion, we resolved our conflicts. Working with the group had some issues regarding decision-making. Participation and alternatives are normally focused while conducting a decision-making phase ( Molinera et al., 2018 ). While a situation arose and a decision had to be made for further development of the task, I along with my team discussed that particular thing and assigned the task to the member basis on his strong knowledge. Decision-making is considered as a characteristic of group work and it is converted into individual views into group decisions ( Delic et al., 2018 ). We used to maintain a sweet flow of time. In the group, we divided our tasks as per instruction and set up our deadline as per workload. I feel that time management is the utmost important thing that group members should keep in mind. I kept my timeline to complete a task, differentiated my works, and started tracking down my tasks through an informal diary. I also contacted my group members to keep pace with the workflow. The final deadline was always constant for all. We had to finish our job and inform our instructor just before the last hour. By following proper guidelines and time management we completed our tasks in time. Management skills can be described as certain criteria that everyone should maintain to fulfill specific tasks in a group (Hiermann and Höfferer, 2003) . As we worked as a whole, we also needed to show some individual skills which are very necessary for successful completion of work. Some of my group members were technically skilled which allowed our instructor to use their ability and knowledge for achieving group objectives. People having conceptual understanding and abstract thinking helped to solve any out of box problem in the group (Anne Sen, 2010). Also, problem-solving skills gave us a variety of ways to solve mathematical problems and others.
Conclusion: Proper skills and knowledge can make a group work much successful. As I worked in a group, I faced some challenges to work on. I did not know how to get fit in a complex scenario. I used to work on projects alone. But group work helped me to overcome many difficulties day by day. I was able to figure out my strengths during working time in my group. I also found some errors and skill gaps that I needed to fulfill in the meantime.
