OVERHAUL, REPLACEMENT AND INSPECTION TIME LIMITS (RK-1 AND AFTER) 1. Time Limits NOTE: A landing cycle count was added to the landing gear inspection intervals Jan 18/02. Airplanes that have already exceeded the new landing cycle limitations are permitted an additional 200 landing cycles above the present landing cycle count (not to exceed the existing hourly limitation). This extension only applies to the inspection due Jan 18/02 and not to any subsequent inspections. A. Refer to Table 1 and Figure 1 , Figure 2 , Figure 3 , Figure 4 and Figure 5 for overhaul, replacement and inspection time limits (RK-1 and After). (1) Table 1. Main Battery (P/N RG-380E/40L or 132-380040) (RK-98 and After) 042402 a. Replace main battery with new battery in accordance with Chapter 24-32-00 in the Model 400/400A Maintenance Manual. Replace 1,200 Hours or 24 Months After Installation B. FIRE PROTECTION 1. Engine Fire Extinguisher Cartridge (Squib)(P/N 13083) 042601 a. Replace cartridge (Squib) with new cartridge in accordance with Chapter 26- 20-00 in the Model 400/400A Maintenance Manual. Replace 6 Years from date of manufacture or 4 Years from date of service, whichever occurs first 2. Engine Fire Extinguisher Bottles (P/N 30400018) 042602 a. Hydrostatically test cylinders in accordance with Title 49 CFR Chapter 1, Section 180.209 or replace with new cylinders. (DOT Regulation) 5 Years C. NOTE: (For airplanes RK-1 thru RK-23 With Kit 128-8001 Installed) - If the initial overhaul or teardown inspection has been complied with following the installation of Kit 128-8001, the 7,400 hour/5,000 landings inspection interval criteria will apply to all subsequent inspections. If the initial overhaul or teardown inspection has not been complied with following the installation of Kit 128-8001, contact Beechcraft Corporation at 800.429.5372 to determine the initial inspection interval based on the number of landings accumulated on the landing gear prior to installation of Kit 128-8001. 1.
