Hi Stephen! I'm also interested in getting into investments in the long term and as you stated: income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements give you a comprehensive look at the company's performance. Understanding the fundamentals of reading financial statements gives you a great foundation in decision making when it comes to investing. As we know, a lot of people are looking to be a part of the next big thing. Would you consider adding a younger, promising company (sector of your choice) to your portfolio that did not have the longevity of performance in financial statements? Why or why not? -Dottie
