Good Morning Class,
I decided to do a deeper analysis on financial inclusion as this weeks
chapter communicated the introduction to the financial world. My
selected URL is posted above, and this article really highlights financial
inclusion as a whole. Financial inclusion is when everyone can access
financial services that can help them build wealth, including savings,
credit, loans, equity, and insurance. McKinsey and Company does a
great job of providing details regarding America and our current
standing when it comes to financial inclusion. Even though America is
one of the world's wealthiest countries, A recent survey of 25,000
Americans found that only half would be able to cover expenses for
more than two months if they lost their job. The difference between
financial inclusion and exclusion in the United States frequently comes
down to race. I think this article is a great choice for this unit as it goes
into deeper detail regarding financial decisions as a whole.
