Topic 1: Convince your parent/guardian to extend your curfew. Topic 2: Convince a friend to volunteer with you at local beach clean-up There is a beach clean-up event scheduled for this upcoming weekend, and I would be thrilled if you could come. It's not just about helping the environment - there will be food, music, and a lot of fun to be had. The people who are organizing this event have done their homework; they know exactly what happens when we don't take care of our trash. They will be educating us on how to prevent this from happening in the future. Imagine if you saw a baby turtle caught in fishing line. It's heartbreaking to think about, but we have the power to help save many creatures by cleaning up our beaches. It's not just about the aquatic animals either - our pets could be affected too. Many of us bring our furry friends to the beach frequently, and if they were to ingest any of the trash, it could lead to serious repercussions. I looked into this further and found some information that might interest you. The process of degradation of plastics results in the release of harmful chemicals into our environment. This is a concerning issue that needs to be addressed. When we think about our local beach, it's important to consider its condition. We are fortunate to have access to beautiful sunrises and waves. It's crucial to imagine how unpleasant it would be if the beach was littered with trash like other locations. A clean beach reflects positively on the community. It has a ripple effect on others as well. Trash that is left on the beach can be carried away by the tide, polluting other beaches nearby. Essentially, we are pushing our problem onto them. Would you be willing to join a beach cleanup? Imagine the positive impact it would have on our community and the ocean.
