Neighbors are the people who live near us. In your opinion, what are the
qualities of
a good neighbor
? Use specific details and examples in your answer.
Neighbours are the people who live near us and their behaviour influence our daily life. For this
reason, it is important to consider what characteristics define a good neighbor. In my opinion,
he or she should be supporttive and polite.
Firstly, a good neighbor should be willing to help others. In our daily life, sometimes emergency
situations happen and we can encounter difficulties which cannot be resolved by ourselves. At
these times, for example when fire breaks out, the quickest help we can receive is from our
neighbors. In addition, they are as important as relatives to us because they can provide
immediate help. Helping each other can form a friendly and harmonious relationship among
neighbours.
Furthermore, another quality of a good neighbor is that he or she should be friendly. For
instance, he or she always welcoming and greeting other people. This characteristic create
peaceful and united neighborhood. Moreover, people with this quality can make us have
happier lives, as we can become friends with them easily and spend our free time together. We
can hang out or travel with them or go for a picnic, for example. This kind of people can add
more enjoyment to our lives.
In conclusion, a good neighbor can be a good friend. He or she can make all the difference in
the world to ones life. Such people can help us handle life's unexpected emergencies and allow
us feel more comfortable in our own homes.
