P ROJECT Veggie Time Burgers D ATE September 8, 2023 B USINESS C ASE The industry is experiencing an increase in demand for vegan and vegetarian products. Elite Burger Co. will launch a new veggie burger called the "Veggie Time Burger" within six months. Ingredients will be sourced from plants in the burger. B USINESS N EED /C ASE - Menu Diversification - Boost the demographics of restaurants - Meet growing consumer demands - Expand to new markets (increasing profits) P ROJECT P URPOSE To meet the increased market demand for vegetarian products in the marketplace, this project aims to create a veggie burger for the Elite Burger Co franchise. This is in response to increased market demand and to meet vegetarian consumers' needs. Vegetarian consumers are increasingly seeking vegetarian options in restaurants that they can enjoy, which is why Elite Burger Co is developing veggie burgers as they cater to their growing market. Furthermore, it provides more options for consumers when they visit the franchise by diversifying the menu.
