It primarily focuses on soft skill development, and learning to give effective oral presentations and appropriate written assignments. The course progresses at a fast pace, demanding you to pace yourself appropriately to receive the maximum benefits from this experience. Total participation by students is expected in the form of discussing the materials covered in the textbook (in the form of class discussions and weekly homework exercise assignments), as well as, participating in presentations by subject experts, and in the presentations made by fellow students. Any incomplete or missed assignments will result in proportional reduction from your grade. Plan your activities and homework assignments accordingly and do not miss any deadlines. You will be researching topics as part of the assignments/presentations and learning to communicate what you have learned. The subject-expert presentations are designed to enhance your Soft Skills - today's hard skills. You are expected to exhibit professional behavior throughout the course.
