Celery (
Apium graveolens
var.
dulce
) stem cross sec6on cut using a razor blade. The cross sec6on was
dyed using Toluidine Blue O for a minute and viewed under light microscope at 10X. Different collenchyma
cells such as the Lamellar Collenchyma Cells (LCC) on the cell wall, Angular Collenchyma Cells (ACC) between
two cells, the loca6on of the Cell Wall (CW) on the outer edge of the celery as well as the Intracellular Spaces
(IS) between cells are labelled. The scale for this is image is 100μm.
